It's all getting fuzzy is the first single from the upcoming album from Gorm Askjær Trio+, where the regular trio is joined by Malthe Volfing Højager on cello and Francesco Bigoni on saxophone/clarinet.

RECENT PROJECTS

Curiosity Symphony is a work that I have composed for 2 large ensembles Århus Sinfonietta and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra playing together with 2 soloist. It was premiered at Musikhuset Aarhus Nov 6. 2022.

Curiosity Symphony is a work in 3 parts. Each part acts as a five-piece suite. The inspiration for Curiosity Symphony comes from curious composers and musicians through the ages, specifically from jazz and classical musics, and the sounds and stories connected

to them.

LYDBREVE / FORBRÆNDTE CORONABILLEDER

Works commissioned by the ensemble Lydenskab for a project working with stories of relations and isolation during the covid-19 pandemic of 2020. Includes fifteen short pieces for flute, violin and cello - and five songs for small chamber ensemble featuring singers Bjørn Fjæstad (Baal, Rytteriet) and Katinka Fogh Vindelev (We Like We). The songs were composed over poetic texts by Ursula Andkjær Olsen and with video presentation by Tine Reingaard. More info

ALBUM AND EP RELEASED

Gorm Askjær Trio: "Blodmånen og dig" was released in May 2020 on Jaeger Community Music and is available on all streaming platforms, as well as the EP 'En Særlig Gåtur I Parken" with two bonus tracks from the same recording session.

To celebrate the release we made a series of alternative versions of the compositions from the album, played by the trio members and other artists from the Jaeger Community Music family. Watch the first here and follow all Blodmånen Sessions at my facebook page
